Hello & Namaste!!
I express my warm wishes to whom so ever is reading this post and I want to share a few details or my personal opinions about our not so much known INDIAN treasure of knowledge documented in Nine books. I was reading a book titled " The Tenth Unknown" written by Jvalant Nalin Sampath, a debut author very fascinate about Indian culture, knowledge and Traditions. While reading the author's note of this book I was impressed by his statement "...this book is my little way of giving back to a country which has given me everything, from my name to my identity..".Congratulating Sri Jvalant on his first book and wish that he would contribute many more such books like this I want to present the names of the Nine unknown books which were believed to be given by Emperor Ashoka. I also read the book titled "Nine - Curse of the kalingan" by Shobha Nihlani which was really very interesting. In the book, The Tenth Unknown, the author has given the titles of all the nine books in Sanskrit along with meaning in english which are as given as :
Book 1 : Nitivistaram evam Manastatvik Yudhavigraham meaning Propoaganda and Psycological Warfare
Book 2 : Yudhavigraham Sariravrittim meaning Physiology in Warfare
Book 3 : Jivanuvijnanam meaning Microbiology
Book 4: Samyogam meaning Communication
Book 5: Aloka meaning Light
Book 6 : Aparasayanasastram meaning Alchemy
Book 7 : Madhyakarsanam evam Abhiksepasastram meaning Gravitation and Rocketry
Book 8: Sristitattvam meaning Cosmology
Book 9 : Samajavijnanam meaning Sociology.
The origin of these books are unknown but definitely each book in documents how the mankind should be. Our present generation, except a few are not aware of the greatness of our culture and the contributions which our great ancestors have done. If anyone comes across these titles or books please do read and pass on the good knowledge to future generations.
Bye for now...
