Awareness on "CYBER CRIME"

Dear All,

I have conducted a one day awareness program on "CYBER CRIME" on 01/12/12 at AUCE(A), Andra University. Nearly 190 participants registered and attended the program. The program started with inaugral function attended by Prof.V.Uma Maheswara Rao,Registrar, AU., Prof.G.S.N.Raju, Principal, AUCE(A),AU., Prof.P.Srinivasa Rao,Head of CS&SE department and me as co-convener of the program. After inaugral opening lecture on CYBER CRIME was given by Prof.P.Srinivasa Rao followed by two sessions of my lectures on all the various types of CYBER CRIME and prevention tips. Afternoon session was taken by Dr.K.Sita Manikyam , of AU Law department on various issues of Cyber law. The program was ended with a Valedictory function for which Sri.M.Dubey, Joint Director of STPI, Visakhapatnam was the chief guest. Participation Certificate was given to all the participants. A wide coverage was given in all the news papers and in TV9.
